How Much? | Corinne Fisher & Krystyna Hutchinson | TEDxUNC

Krystyna Hutchinson & Corinne Fisher discuss how self-worth is formed in the modern era, and encourage us to ask ourselves how much we think we’re worth- especially in regards to sex. In this talk, they delve into the questions women especially should ask themselves to make sure they know just how much they are valued.

In their podcast, they interview men they’ve slept with, talk to titans of the sex industry, discuss sexual taboos, and create a sex-positive environment for their over half a million listeners worldwide. Their podcast has been featured in The Daily Beast, The Huffington Post, Shape Magazine, The Daily Dot, Elle Magazine, Salon, Glamour and Last Call with Carson Daly.

Krystyna Hutchinson and Corinne Fisher form the comedy duo, Sorry About Last Night. Hutchinson and Fisher are stand-up comedians from NYC and they are the creators and co-hosts of iTunes #1 Comedy Podcast “Guys We F****d: The Anti-Slut Shaming Podcast.”

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx

  2. Yes but girls do the same to guys in that they want only the top 20% of men. Like if a dude is below average height or doesn't have hair, he is likely rejected almost immediately. My point is that it's part of the human condition to yearn for more benefit and less liability. Can we transcend it? Probably with technology. Only God know what kind of society we would be then.

  3. "HOW DID WE GET HERE?" Now this is the real question that should be taught in schools with lessons on cultural biases on gender roles and gender stereotypes that are constantly being enforced on children and young adults.

  4. I can't tell you how much I appreciate these women. Also they are hilarious I just saw their standup live! Plus I'm working my way through the podcast! Thank you for helping me be proud to be a woman 💜
